OUTDOOR HOUSE LEAGUE

House League Soccer provides players with opportunity to play for enjoyment, participation, to make friends and to develop a healthy life style.  House League is the perfect program for those who have never played or just enjoy getting out to have fun! The emphasis in practices is soccer skills. Each week there is a practice at 6:00 pm and a game at 6:30 pm. Our recreational division season is 12 weeks long, starts the end of May, and runs until August.

U8-U12 DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The development program is for players who are interested in the next level of soccer. These teams have 1-2 dedicated practice nights as well as a game night. Teams play in the DSL (Durham Soccer League) and have a 50/50 split of home and way games. Skill development is the primary goal for these age brackets. The emphasis is still FUN. All players play equal time and try all team positions, including goalkeeping.

INDOOR HOUSE LEAGUE

Indoor Soccer is a fun and fast-paced game played either in a local gym (U5-U9) or on indoor turf (U11 to adult). A smaller net is used and the ball may be played off the walls. This is a game of constant transition so players are always actively involved in the game. This game really improves a players touch on the ball as well as ball handling skills. Games are 2 twenty-five minute halves with substitutions allowed at any point in the game.

Introducing…. Our field maintenance staff! Jenna and Mariah have been working hard since April to get the fields ready for the season and maintain them throughout. Both women worked together to measure, stake, and line the fields, put up nets, picked up garbage, and continue to maintain many of the Cobourg fields. Being soccer players themselves, Jenna and Mariah take pride in being able to keep the fields in top condition for players to continually develop their game. Stay tuned for more field maintenance content to come! ... See MoreSee Less

Did someone say 🌟Superstars🌟? Last Wednesday, Coach Mariah, Coach Keiden, and Coach Nathan worked on some game based skills such as pull-backs, step overs, and dropping the shoulder before heading into a Coaches vs. player attacking drill. (All after a fun warm up of toilet tag and shark attack of course!) The 1 hour weekly program works on the development of a variety of soccer skills while building self-confidence and encouraging interaction with other players on the field.
